Carrie Bultman

Carrie has been with NPI about 7 ½ years. She started out in Menomonie as a PCW. She was then promoted to manager after about a year. She has managed Program 4 for over 6 years, has been manager of Program 10 for almost 2 years, and has recently taken on management of Program 2 this past October. Carrie grew up in Lake Nebagamon, WI. She lived in Minneapolis, MN and Cleveland, OH before moving back to Wisconsin in 1986. Carrie has worked in the Healthcare field for 32 years. She began in 1978 as a CNA in Duluth, MN. Carrie went to nursing school and worked as a Medical Assistant. She also has worked for Human Resource Center in Superior, WI for many years as well as working with mentally ill clients. She moved to the Chippewa area in 1995. She married her husband, Mark, in 1996. She has two daughters and a grandson. Her oldest daughter works at the capital in St. Paul, MN as an assistant to a Senator and her youngest works at NPI. She also has a wonderful son-in-law. She has three Pomeranians that are her “kids” now that her children are all grown.

Kathryn Olson

Kathy has been with NPI for 2 years 8 months. She started as a PCW working with a woman doing block shifts. She was soon promoted to a manager after being with the company 6 months. Her consumers always come first so she enjoys planning activities and outings for them. She grew up and went to school in Pepin, WI. After graduation, she went to Red Wing Vo-tech and took CNA courses. She then moved to Ellsworth, WI where she worked with the disabled and during this time she had her daughter. She moved to the Chippewa area 6 years ago. Kathy worked for a private company in Ellsworth for 4 years working with the disabled. They were later bought out by Brotoloc where she remained the assistant manager. She also did home care for 2 years. She worked at Target and a factory for 10 years. She is married to Kevin who also works for NPI. She is looking forward to her 10 year anniversary and taking a 7 day cruise! She has a 26 year old daughter, Nikki, who is her best friend. She loves to camp, garage sale, and spend time with her families.

Nicole Kohlman

Nikki has been with NPI since for almost 5 months. She started as a PCW but was promoted to a manger soon after at Program 5. She is originally from Ellsworth, WI. Nicole comes to NPI because she loves to help others. The outdoors will find her riding the snowmobile and four wheel trails. She loves hanging out with the family and is such a dedicated PACKERS fan.

Kimberly Belger

Kim has been with NPI for 5 years. She started as a PCW at Program 10 and 9. She was promoted to a manger in 2008 of Program 13, and recently took on Program 6. She has lived in the Eau Claire area her entire life. She attended North High and graduated in 2000. She has been in the healthcare field for 10 years. She started at a group home,  a day service program, and a nursing home. She is the youngest in her family. She has a sister, Jennifer, who also works for NPI. Her mother and father live in Eau Claire. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Shon, and his 6 year old daughter Destiny.

Program 7- Eau Claire

Michael Halbert

Michael has worked at NPI for 5 years. He started with NPI in 2005 and was then promoted to a manager of Program 7 in 2006. He was born in Houston, TX, grew up in Fort Worth, TX and moved to Wisconsin about 11 years ago. Prior to moving to the area, he worked as a mechanic at a golf course. After he moved here, he worked for Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation, for 2 years and obtained his CNA there. He was then employed at a day service for 2 years as well. He has been married to Angela for 16 years and has 2 children at home, one college bound and one in middle school. He also has 3 grown daughters in Texas, along with 2 granddaughters. He enjoys playing in his band, spending time with his family, bowling, and fishing.

Betty Trossen

Betty has been with NPI 14 years. She started as a PCW. She was promoted to manager of Program #9 about a year later. Betty grew up in Athelstane, Wisconsin which is 40 miles west of Marinette. She moved to the area in 1967. She has worked as a bank secretary, at Chrysler on the assembly line as an aluminum welder as well as a teacher a day care. Betty has also volunteered as a Teacher’s Aide in a Christian school for 13 years. Betty enjoys traveling and going to Bible conferences. She also enjoys spending time with friends and her family of 3 children and 9 grandchildren.

Program 11- Medford

Rachel Dohrwardt

Rachel as been with NPI for 2 years. She is the manager of Program 11 in Medford. She grew up in Medford in her country home and has lived there all her life and all her family is there as well. She started as a PCW for an elderly couple 5 years ago in their home. After that, she worked at a few different group homes and CBRF’s before coming to NPI. She has 3 nieces and 2 nephews. She spends a lot of time with her oldest niece that is 16. She has 3 brothers. She has a Chihuahua that is 2 years old. Rachel likes to go fishing, camping, photography, and music.

Program 12- Cameron

Jodi Klump

Jodi has been with NPI since February 2009. She started as a PCW and then 6 months later was promoted to manager. Jodi grew up in Cameron, WI and she has been a true "Cameron"nite all her life--37 years! She love the area because of her awesome community where everyone knows you by name and cares about each other!!! After graduation from Cameron High School, Jodi started out working in a factory in Chetek, WI. Just 6 months later, she found out that line of work was not my cup of tea and I wanted to find something that was more rewarding. So she went into the home health care setting and worked there helping clients in their homes with cleaning, bathing, medications, shopping and socialization. Jodi loved it and enjoyed the 1:1 with my clients and meeting their family members. Later, she then found employment at a 15-bed CBRF (Community Based Residential Facility) assisted living located in Rice Lake for 3 years from 95-98. In '98 she ventured down the road to check out another assisted living which was our competitor and landed a job right away. Jodi worked there as a Resident Care Assistant until being promoted to Residence Manager in 2000 and was with that company until March of 2008. When Jodi is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family including her brother, sister-in-law, awesome nephew and adorable niece, friends and her furry friend Buddy! Jodi is an active member of the Rice Lake Lions Club where she enjoys being able to fulfill their motto of "We Serve." Jodi is also a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels program and enjoys delivering meals and bringing a smile to their faces.

Program 14- Eau Claire

Larry Chambless

Larry started with NPI in January of 2005. He worked in several programs before becoming a manger of Program 14. He grew up in Tyler, TX and lived there until October of 2000. Larry worked for General Electric in Texas for 10 years, as a route man for a bread company for 3 years. He also worked for Pepsi Cola Company for almost 10 years and was promoted to a supervisor. He was a manager for a RaceTrac store for 5 years, a supervisor of a sandwich company for 10 years. Larry worked with Special Olympics in Texas where he found a special place in his heart for the people he worked with. He has been married to a wonderful woman for 38 years! Dottie and Larry have 3 daughters. One has gone to heaven, Angela is a Program Director at NPI, and their other daughter lives in Fort Worth, TX. He has 9 grandchildren, 7 girls and 2 boys, as well as 2 great-grandchildren.

Lenee Julin

Lenee has been with NPI for about 10 years. She started when it was Holm’s Homecare. She left the company, but then came back and worked as a PCW. She has been back for 3 years now. Lenee was raised in Iowa but has been living in Wisconsin for 33 years. Lenee started in the healthcare field 30 years ago working in nursing homes and helping individuals in their homes. She loves helping people and seeing them excel in life. When away from work, Lenee enjoys visiting with people, going on the internet, relaxing at home and occasionally going out with friends. Lenee has a son and daughter as well as 4 granddaughters with 1 more here at the end of January!
