Jay Gast is the President and a Co-owner of Northwest Pathways to Independence. He was born in Wausau, WI but spent most of his childhood in the Chicago, IL. area. He is a graduate of West Chicago High School, where he was an acclaimed athlete. He attended the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Secondary Education degree. His endeavor was to be an educator and a coach, but the market was flooded with applicants at the time. With family and debt in hand, the job offers in the Social Work became the logical choice. Often life defines us, and he has no regrets, for the privilege to serve those in need enriched his commitment to humanity. (i.e. The NPI , Inc family!)
